Christian Campers
This group is composed of couples and families who have a passion for camping and enjoy being outside together, experiencing the finest camping areas in Tennessee and sometimes in West Kentucky.
They all meet in January to plan the camping schedule for the year. Families have grown up together in this group and they have all developed a great bond with each other.
Contact Jeff Butler for more information: 615-957-9564.
Children's Church
Children’s Church is available for 2nd grade and under, beginning with age 3. Please refrain from sending children older than 2nd grade as this places a burden on our teaching staff to accommodate the age difference and maturity levels. There are children’s activity pages in the foyer for ages 7-12.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Connecting Point Ministries
Our Mission is to minister to individuals, families and community through this outreach to bring them to a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. We will do this by having interesting activities that are in a non-threatening environment that will enable them to establish friendships with the fellowship of Christians at Clarksville Highway.
If you have an interest in serving the Lord in this evangelistic outreach please contact the church.
Wild Game Dinner . . . Every other year during the month of March we have a Wild Game Dinner. We always plan to have many different types of wild game served in a variety of recipes. In the past we have had venison, buffalo, pheasant, grouse, elk, wild boar, European ram, bear, wild turkey, squirrel, rabbit, crawfish, duck, beaver and that old favorite barbequed raccoon with sweet potatoes. And for those that don’t want the wild game but want to attend the feast we provide fried fish so everyone can have a good meal. Additionally, there are several side items to choose from and dessert. In addition to the great food, there will be a great speaker, a contest for the best hunting story, door prizes and great game exhibits. Come expecting great time, great program, and great fellowship!
Father’s Day B-B-Q . . . Each year on Father’s Day we have a barbecue for the community. A group of men start the weekend off on Friday evening when they start barbecuing the meat. On Saturday at 6:00 PM the celebration starts…. good food and good music. It all happens under the pavilion behind the church building. There are also drawings for gift certificates to Lowe’s and other surprises. This is a great time for the whole family to enjoy. Come join us.
Trail of Treats Harvest Celebration . . . On Saturday night nearest to Halloween we have a Trail-of-Treats set up on the walking trail in the woods behind the baseball/softball field beside the church building. Each table has not only candy, but small toys and school supplies for each child that makes the trek around the trail. There is also a weenie roast for the youth and adults. As always at Clarksville Highway, we will have some great music and singing for the youth and adults that attend.
Seniors Singing Ministry
The Seniors go to the local nursing home once a month as part of its NurSing Home Song Ministry. They meet at the church building at 9:00 a.m. and ride together and finish up this great work with lunch together.

Psalms 71:18 - "Now also when I am old and gray headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto [this] generation, [and] thy power to every one [that] is to come."
Psalms 91:16 - "With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation."
Womens Secret Sisters
Our women's ministry is a place that our ladies can support each other and enjoy fellowship with each other. Our ladies have Bible studies, Teas, and other social events like Secret Sisters.
The Secret Sisters consist of a group of adult women of all ages. Each “Sister” draws the name of her “Secret Sister” at the beginning of the year and gives gifts throughout the year. Each “Sister” fills out a paper listing personal favorites in several areas such as “Hobbies, favorite colors, favorite foods, music, reading preferences, and restaurants.” The identity of the “Secret Sister” is revealed at our Christmas get-together.
The “Secret Sister” program is led by Suzanne Hale. She has planned several group outings during the year. This provides a means of fellowship and a way to get to know one another better. These outings include trips to TPAC, Blue Herron Cruises, tea rooms, the symphony, Patti’s Settlement, and “movie and dinner night.” It is hoped that this program will strengthen the bonds between these “Sisters in Christ”. These activities are open to everyone -- not just Secret Sisters.
If you would like to be a part of this growing and dynamic group of ladies, please see Suzanne Hale.
Classes for All Ages
If you would like to observe a class experience, please talk to one of these folks!
Ephesians 4: 11-16 “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”

Youth and Family Ministry

First off thank you !!! If you are looking on this page, it means you have an interest in working with a group that is very near and dear to us. It also means you might be a little nuts because working with kids, teens, and even college age kids is a very difficult thing to do. They will test you every way they know possible till they push you to the very brink of a melt down and then they do something that melts your heart and makes you remember why you give your time, money, and effort to be with them.
However, if you didn't know it takes a ton of work to make those special moments happen and they only happen when men and women like your self get a little crazy and give some of their precious time to make classes, events, and relationships with those kids, as special as they need to be to make a impact on the amazing kids of Clarksville Highway and it's community.
While we are searching for a Youth Minister, we need your involvement: teens, parents, grandparents, etc. An exciting opportunity lies before us. Get involved. Find a place to help. Offer your talents. Let God stretch you to do things in His service. Nobody has to do everything, but everybody has to do something.
We will continue to communicate through our weekly email. It will arrive in your inbox every Monday, just like before. Good communication will be key. If you want to get involved with something or take ownership of something, for the present time, please let Jackie know. You can email her at jackie@clarksvillehwychurch.com.
