Clarksville Highway Church of Christ exists to make disciples. Every plan, program, activity and class connects to that central theme. We believe strongly in the command Jesus gave to the apostles. "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
We are all human and make mistakes, but we have a forgiving God that is always pursuing that relationship with us and showing us His Will. We are always looking to do God’s Will.
We are continuously looking to better the way we do things here at Clarksville Highway.
So don’t be surprised to walk in and see slight changes, because we are always striving to be the hands, feet, ears, and eyes of our Lord.
One last thing you should know is that we have a very relaxed dress code. Actually, there really isn’t one. We want you to come just as you are!
We are Guided by appointed Elders & Deacons
Acts 14:23: "Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust."
Acts 20: 28: "Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God."
Our Spiritual Leaders
"There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."
Romans 14:1, 12, 22
"Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters...stop passing judgment on one another...each of us will give an account of himself to God... so whatever you believe about these things [non-essentials] keep between yourself and God."
In All Things
1 Corinthians 13:1
"...If I have faith to move mountains but have no love, I amount to nothing at all..." (1 Corinthians 13:1) “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35)
